Home Schooling and a Core Curriculum for our Children
Recently Chicago’s Public Schools (CPS) announced they are making the bathrooms in public school systems non-gender specific.
CPS’s Chief title IX officer, Camie Pratt, a licensed attorney and mediator, who leads the CPS Office of Student Protections and Title IX, which was established by the district in 2018 to protect all of Chicago’s students from gender discrimination, sexual harassment, violence, and abuse. Title IX states: No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.
This idiotic decision is the inverse to that charter. It won’t protect children, it will endanger them, morally corrupt them and promote living a false reality. Didn’t they learn from the rape in the, (Gender Neutral) bathroom in Loudoun County Virginia? This is all coming from a city who’s public schools have been described as the worst in the nation, 30% of their adult population has a low basic literacy rate and the worst violent crime rate in the country.
The absurdity of the policy can’t be voiced enough. Every parent in the Nation should be outraged and vocal about it! Like many other public services established to strengthen our Democracy, academia is now doing the opposite. It has been infested with special interest seeking to indoctrinate not instruct. Teach kids what to think instead of how to think. Even attempting to assume parenting responsibilities.
It’s time to take back our schools or let them self destruct. Social Academia, Cancel Culture, Woke, Social Justice, Critical Race Theory and a dozen other racist ideologies are destroying our public schools in the guise of making them more fair and inclusive. An academic curriculum is no longer the main objective in our schools. Academic standards are being replaced by alternative learning techniques. Quantifying and qualifying a school’s effectiveness is virtually impossible due to them manipulating the reportable statistical data. The only way to know how functional his/her school actually is, is to sit Jr down and have him/her read to you, do some long division, give him a science quiz and tell you about the American Revolution. You won’t be impressed!
What do you do when the system is broken and you can’t fix it. Start your own. If our Law Enforcement fails, we start up the neighborhood watches. When our schools cease to function, we star community schools. We home school on a large scale. We share the responsibility for instructing and we teach core academics! Math, science, literature and the unvarnished/unbiased history of the world. We pledge allegiance to the flag and respect our teachers.
By investing in our children’s education. we promote American exceptionalism and develop future leaders!
