2023 NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT (NDAA)
Here we go again. The Biden Regime is putting national defense at risk by holding it hostage to special interest legislation. In this case Socialist control over the media. The latest infraction is called the “Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA)”.
This bill creates a four-year safe harbor from antitrust laws for print, broadcast, or digital news companies to collectively negotiate with online content distributors (e.g., social media companies) regarding the terms on which the news companies’ content may be distributed by online content distributors.
If that doesn’t sound like a monopoly on content and narrative, we’ll have to change the definition of a monopoly. Non-Mainstream Media has been describing it as “Big Tech Information Cartels”. I’d say that’s a pretty fair description.
The fact that our legislators even entertained the idea let alone drafted the bill is conclusive proof of collusion with, and complicacy in, controlling and removing our First Amendment rights. They are blatantly trying to remove anyone who disagrees with their agenda from saying so. Control the criticism by controlling the communications infrastructure.
Would you like to save some money and decrease your risk of illegal monitoring of your on-line activity? Would you like to mitigate the sale of your personal information? This should be the incentive to pull that trigger.
Look at the companies who were indorsing the bill and move to a different service provider, browser and media platform. Let’s quit resourcing these Socialist Oligarchs who are trying to fuse Big Tech/Business with Government. Let’s quit empowering foreign influence in our government due to their influence in corporate America.
Remember, this is an agenda. An intracule part of the World Economic Forums “Great Reset”.
Control the guns so they can control free speech. Control the media in order suppress the opposition. Control the industry so they can dictate dependency by denying sustenance. Institute a system of prosperity solely dependent on a ranking of your Environmental Social Credit Score.
If you can’t see what’s going on, you can’t see the forest through the trees or, your demise through willful ignorance.
